Pamela Sue Arnold

Pamela Sue Arnold, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 27, 2025. She was a beacon of love, strength, and faith to all who knew her. Pamela had a deep love for music, and her home was often filled with the sound of her playing the piano and singing heartfelt gospel songs. Her voice, filled with devotion and warmth, brought comfort and joy to many through the years. She also found great peace and satisfaction in tending her garden and doing yard work, where she cultivated not just flowers and plants, but a sense of serenity and beauty that mirrored her own gentle spirit. Family was at the heart of Pamela’s life. She was an exceptional wife, a devoted and nurturing mother, and a proud, loving grandmother. Her home was a place of welcome, laughter, and unwavering support. Her legacy lives on in the memories she created and the values she instilled in those she held dear. Pamela's grace, kindness, and quiet strength will be remembered always by her family and friends. Though she will be deeply missed, the music of her life will continue in the hearts of those who loved her. Pamela is survived by her loving husband of 50 wonderful years, Paul David Arnold Sr.; daughter, Jennifer Powers and husband Philip Powers; son, Paul David Arnold II and wife Kandy Arnold; sister, Sherry Wascom and husband Bobby Dale Wascom; son-in-law, Mark Albright; and grandchildren, Haven Venegas and husband Thomas Venegas, Joel Powers and wife Kirstyn Powers, Jayden Powers and Allie Landry, and Elouise Powers. Pamela is preceded in death by her daughter, April Lynn Arnold Albright; parents, Henry and Vernie Townley; and siblings, Janice Thorton, Jeannie Faye Townley, and Travis Townley. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in the chapel of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church 11206 Arnold Rd. Denham Springs, LA 70726, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The visitation will resume on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
