Aaron Stephen Gremillion

It is with deeply shattered hearts that the family of Aaron Gremillion announces his tragic passing on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, following a car accident. A resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana, Aaron was only 29 years old, born on December 24, 1996. Aaron was a graduate of Denham Springs High School, Class of 2015. Those who knew him cherished his incredible kindness and the warmth of his heart, which brought immense joy to his family and friends. The bond he shared with his family, especially his beautiful wife and two beautiful daughters, was something most people dream of. He found his greatest joy in those simple backyard moments, playing games with his wife and daughters. Aaron never missed a night texting his mom and dad to tell them he loved them and good night. Survived by his wife, Charley Shaffer Gremillion; his daughters, Oakleigh Earnie Gremillion and Stevie Lynn Gremillion; his parents, Vikki and Rance Keller and Stephen and Melanie Gremillion; his in-laws, Sandy and Jeffry Shaffer, Sr.; siblings Taylor Forrest and husband Beau, Alexandrea Keller Lockhart and husband Hunter, Rance Keller, Victoria Keller, Jesse Mayeaux and Jade Hayes and husband Larry, nieces and nephews, Alden Forrest, Sutton Forrest, Monroe Forrest, Maggie Lockhart, Collin Shaffer, Rose Shaffer and Ella Shaffer and Larry “Tripp” Hayes. Additional survivors include brothers-in-law, Jeffry Shaffer, Jr. and wife Tara and Kirk Shaffer and wife Dawn, grandparents Donna and Jack Hebert, Lavon Mercer and Josephine Hanna, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenny and Earnie Harold, Catherine and EJ Gremillion, JB Mercer, Glenn Hanna, Sr. and Buddy and Shirley Shaffer. Pall bearers will be Beau Forrest, CJ Etheridge, Dane Stephenson, Monterio Whitley, Jr., Austin Price, Dawson Tate, Torez Kinchen, Peyton Hubbard and Nic Day. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation starting at 11:00 am until 2:00 pm, service to start at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 7738 Florida Boulevard, Denham Springs, Louisiana with burial following at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery, Range Avenue, Denham Springs, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Aaron’s memory to The Miracle League Cypress Mounds, 11130 Industriplex Boulevard, Suite 400, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70809.
