Varice Joseph Mire

March 2, 1957 - March 2, 2022

Varice, age 65, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. He was a native of Ouchita Parish, and a longtime resident of Converse, LA. After graduating from Walker High School, he joined the United States Air Force where he got the grand tour of Texas. Varice worked on computers in the Air Force and later in the oil and gas industry. He had a large group of friends he called his “work family”. Varice loved, and he was loved by everyone. He was a loving son, brother, a fantastic uncle and great-uncle who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Varice is survived by his loving mother, Martha Mabry Mire; sister, Paula Cryer (Freddy); brothers, Allen Paul Mire, Jr. (Patsy), and John ‘Brady’ Mire (Cynthia); nieces and nephews, Emily Kimble (Rusty), Ashton Mire, Allen Paul Mire, III, Devyn Mire, and Briaunna Messina (Chaz); great-nieces and great-nephews, Aiden Kimble, Levi and Luna Mire, Blakely and Caroline Messina. Varice is preceded in death by his father, Allen Paul Mire, Sr. Varice was opposed to abortion and child abusers.
