Therese Pisciotta Domiano
June 7, 1957 - July 18, 2021
Therese Pisciotta Domiano was an exceptional woman. Wife, mother, friend, educator, bakery owner, she was many things to many people. She was a powerhouse, a compact force of nature driven completely by love. Her impact on her family and this community was profound. Born on June 7, 1957 in Chicago, IL, Therese was raised in Louisiana. At age 18 she met the love of her life, her husband Paul. Together, over 46 years of marriage, they raised 5 children, John Paul, Jason, Samantha, Rachael, and Rebecca. She was a proud mother-in-law to Justin Beard, Brandon Wagner, Koy Reid, and Kelly Domiano, and an adoring grandmother to twelve grandchildren - Luca, Noah, Eliana, Jack, Natalie, Alex, Katherine, Michael, Elena, Allie, Rylee and Ryder. Although a mother first and always, Therese was an educator at heart. She valued the children of this community and spent her career working to elevate the schools of Tangipahoa Parish. Outside of the classroom, she touched the hearts of so many families, through her cakes, through her compassion, and through her undying service to others in all things. She was honored to be a part of so many lives through her work. Therese joined her heavenly father on July 18, 2021, in the comfort of her home surrounded by family. She battled cancer for 21 years, a warrior until the end. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Rosalie Pisciotta, her aunt, Katherine Ellzey, and her nephew, Ellis Pisciotta, III. Her love surrounds us even now. Therese will be missed, but always felt and never forgotten. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, Tickfaw, on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 9AM until 11AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11AM and interment to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church Cemetery. Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
