Rev. Philip “PJ” Baker

Rev. Philip "PJ" Baker spent a happy childhood in New Orleans near City Park where he enjoyed daily adventures with his siblings and neighborhood friends. When he was about 10 years old he had a spiritual experience that changed his life forever. From that day forward his life's journey became a search for a deeper understanding and relationship with God. Many have been impacted by his life and his journey and all are better for it. He will be missed by his wife, children, siblings, and extended family and many, many others. He is survived by his loving wife, Dr. Linda LeBlanc Baker; son, Aaron Corbin Baker; daughter, Abi Corbin Baker; sisters, Mary Lynn Roberts (George), and Nancy Jo Hamburger (Paul); brothers, William Baker, Jr. (Jill), and Frank Baker (Jean); along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Madeline Baker. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Our Daily Bread. PONCHATOULA, LA Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in the Chapel of Brandon G. Thompson, 1190 Hwy 51 North, Ponchatoula from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the Prayer Service at 12:00 noon. Immediately following there will be a Catered Reception until 2:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Room within the Funeral Home.
