May 1, 1961 - February 8, 2022
Lori was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at the age of 60. She was born in Independence, Louisiana but settled down in the town of Robert, Louisiana. Lori was a dedicated lifetime member at Old Zion Hill Baptist Church. There, she taught Mission Friends on Wednesday nights, taught music to the children during Vacation Bible School, sang in the church choir, and even worked as the church’s secretary for a time. Lori is preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Kathleen Garon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held in the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 12012 Hwy 190 West, Hammond, on Monday, February 14, 2022, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Old Zion Hill Baptist Church at 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Old Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
