Lindsey Reeves

Lindsey, age 32, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022. She was a resident of Ponchatoula, LA. Lindsey was uniquely her own person and had a passion for fashion and makeup. She was known for her distinctive style and always stood out in a crowd. Lindsey took great pride in being a mother and was most happy surrounded by her children. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and being with her family. Lindsey was exceptionally strong and truly a one of a kind. She left her family with many laughs and memories and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her daughter, Allaya Zawacki; son, Dekovin Zawacki; parents, Wesley and Gwen Reeves, Cindie Reeves; sisters, Amanda Reeves, and Brittney Cureton; brothers, Chris Reeves, Travis Husser, Cory Cureton; partner, Joshua Robertson; grandparents, Linda Apken, Alice Guidry, Catha and Raymond Vampran; aunts, Angela Powell, Cassie McNeese; uncles, Matthew and Walter Apken, Byron Powell, Bobby Powell; great-uncles, Jeff Kinsey, Ricky Goad; great-aunt, Sheree Wheeler; and several nieces and nephews. Lindsey is preceded in death by her daughter, Aviana Zawacki; nephew, Tristan LeBlanc; aunt, Tammy Reeves; grandfathers, Wesley R. Reeves and Walter Apken; great-grandmother, Vernice Goad; and great-uncles, Keith and David Kinsey. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 12012 Hwy 190 W. Hammond, LA 70401, on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until the memorial service at 6:00 p.m.
