Kevin Raymond Travis

Kevin Raymond Travis, age 50, of Hammond LA went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 29, 2022. He was born February 4, 1972 in Hammond, LA. He was a wonderful, loving son, brother, uncle, father figure, cousin and friend. He was very caring and tenderhearted. If you knew him, you could not help but to love him. He will be missed. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his trips to the Great Smoky Mountains, especially Cades Cove (looking for Black Bears). He graduated from Hammond High School in 1990 and SLU in 1994. He worked for a number of years at the Tangipahoa Parish Library and Southeastern University Library. He was a member at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church in Springfield, LA. He was a true and faithful servant to the Lord Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother Charlene Gomez Travis. He is survived by his daddy Ken Travis, sister Suzonne Travis, niece Dixie Breeland (Alan), niece Michelle Phillips, and numerous cousins. Thompson Funeral Home, 12012 Hwy 190 West, Hammond, LA. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until the start of the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
