Judy Fay Murray

June 27, 1956 - December 6, 2021

Judy was called to her heavenly home at the age of 65, on Monday, December 6, 2021, while surrounded by her family. She was born in Hammond, Louisiana but has lived in many places all over the country. She loved to travel, especially to places with mountains as she thought they were a work of art. Judy is a survivor of pancreatic cancer. Her long battle of over 6 years never dulled the light that shined through her. She never knew a stranger as she loved to have conversations with just about anybody. Her big caring heart was always what people envied about her. She showed her kindness through speaking her mind, even if it wasn’t something you wanted to hear. Judy was a loving mother, sister and daughter that will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Murray; sisters, Darlene Miller, Wanda Pickering, and Connie Cricchio; brothers, David Murray and Steve Murray; father, Earl Murray. Judy is preceded in death by her mother, Marion Murray, grandmothers, Ruby McTeauge and Lena Murray; grandfathers, Ted Day and William Murray. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Wetmore Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
