Jodi Gatlin Coco

Jodi, age 77, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Raised in Pumpkin Center, Louisiana, she also resided in the Hammond and Baton Rouge areas. Jodi enjoyed over 30 years as a North Oaks hospital receptionist where she became a local icon welcoming people visiting loved ones. One of her favorite pastimes was gardening flowers at both her and her daughter’s homes. She was known to have a “green thumb”. The center of her world was her family, especially her grandchildren. Fondest memories include shopping and beach trips to the gulf coast. She never met a stranger and was truly loved by all who knew her. Jodi is survived by her daughter, Natalie Colona Robbins and her husband Toxie, grandchildren Reagan Waters and husband Tyler, and Nakeli; great grandchildren Annalise and Kasen; sister, Murline Pierson; brothers, Wilson Gatlin and Leche Gatlin. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilmore Coco; brother-in-law, Glenn Coco; parents, George and Abye Gatlin; brothers, Leland and Densmore; sisters, Juanita, Mortella, Geneva, Geraldine, Nancy, and Linda. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the Chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 12012 Hwy 190 W, Hammond, LA. on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 10:00 a. m. until the start of the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Bro. Collin McClendon will officiate with interment to follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
