Daniel Kevin Wright Jr.

December 28, 1980 - January 20, 2021

Daniel, age 40, went to his heavenly home Wednesday, January 20, 2021. He enjoyed keeping busy outside, especially fishing and hunting; anything and everything an outdoorsman would be busy doing. Daniel loved spending time making lasting memories with his family. They remember just how wonderfully fast he could paddle his canoe around the island. You could always find Daniel telling his friends and family stories about his childhood on the island. When he was young, you could often find him riding either on the tractor or on the big truck with Pawpaw Fletcher. After those fun times with Pawpaw, Daniel would come in the house beaming with a huge smile and he talked to everyone about how much he helped Pawpaw do all his hard work. Daniel was a loving father, grandfather, son, and friend who is already dearly missed by all who loved him. Daniel is survived by daughter Kirstin Lewis (Cody Lewis); granddaughters, Tuliyah and Rhonda Lewis; mother, Linda Brooks; stepmother, Stephanie Owens; sister Amanda Clark (John Watkins); brother, Nicholas Wright (Lauren Wright); grandmother, Elaine Crayton; Grandfather, William Fletcher, Jr. Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Kevin Wright Sr.; grandmothers, Beverly Fletcher, and Elaine Wright; grandfather, Jim Wright. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Killian First Baptist Church Cemetery, Killian LA.
