Clifford "Cliff" Henry Cox III

May 12, 1957 - January 10, 2022

Cliff, age 64, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Hammond, LA. Cliff proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He dedicated 24 years to Woman's Hospital in the Graphic Services Department. Cliff was most happy surrounded by his family, especially with his grandson by his side. He took the job of Paw Paw very seriously and made sure to spend lots of time with those he loved. Cliff enjoyed traveling with his family, fishing, and watching Saints football. He was known for his grilling and smoking skills and smoked many a Thanksgiving turkey. Cliff was a true and proud family man with a warm spirit. He will be deeply missed. Cliff is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cathy Bandfield Cox; daughter, Melanie L. Cox; son, Daniel Clifford Cox and wife Brandi; sisters, Stephanie Ann Smith and husband Greg, Tania Cox-Stanchec and husband Chris; brother, Kevin B. Cox and wife Deana; and grandson, Emery John Abshire. Cliff is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Linda Cox; and grandparents, Clifton Henry Cox and Lucille A. LaFrance. A cremation was held and a Celebration of Life service will be held by the family at a later date.
