Carolyn Gail Robertson

October 2, 1942 - May 11, 2022

Gail, age 79, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. She was a native of Ruth, Mississippi and a longtime resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Gail emersed herself in serving others working with French Corner Baptist Church. She was a very generous and loving individual. Gail was always getting out traveling making wonderful memories, going to auctions, and loved to watch the Saints games. While home, she would often be found cooking (especially baking) wonderful dishes, and also solving crossword puzzles. Gail was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Gail is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Creed and her husband Lawrence; son, Larry Cutrer and his wife Pam; grandchildren, Donnie Gail, Linda Renee, Kristie Lynn, Hunter, Kevin, Whitney, and Bailee; 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Gail is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Levi Robertson; and parents, Cecil and Annie Coghlan, Sr.; brothers, Cecil Coghlan Jr., and Kelly Coghlan; sister, Iva Jean, Sharon Ann, and Wanda Kay Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 1190 Hwy 51 North Ponchatoula, LA 70454, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The visitation will continue Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 9:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Sandhill Cemetery.
