Memorial services for Bryant “Buck” Ventis Grantham will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022, at First Baptist Church in the Town of Livingston, Louisiana. The family will receive guests from 9-11 AM with the memorial service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Gateway Memorial Gardens cemetery in Livingston, Louisiana. Buck passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 18, 2022, at age 86. He was born in Holden, Louisiana on March 21, 1935, to Herman and Wilma Grantham. He served his country in the United States Air Force and graduated from Louisiana State University in the College of Agriculture in 1962. Although he had many varied and interesting careers, he was a farmer at heart. He was married for 68 years to the love of his life, Jacklyn Sartwell. He was a devout Christian and shared his faith in many ways. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Livingston, an ordained deacon, and a member of the Hurd Merrill Masonic Lodge #454. He loved his Lord and his church family. He was the proud father of four daughters. He lived with passion and led by example. He will be extraordinarily missed by many. He is survived by his wife, Jacklyn Grantham; daughters Kathy Murry (Mark); Lynn Stirling; Tenney Arrighi (David) and Norma Donaldson (Rae); eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; his very special sister Sharon Taylor and brother Danny Grantham. Buck was preceded in death by his infant son, Ricky, his granddaughter, Brittany Stirling, and his sister, Gloria Hughes.
