Ruby Jewel Frazier Rogers, a beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted woman of faith, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on March 30th, at the age of 85. Born on February 1, 1941 in Crenshaw County, Alabama, Ruby lived a life rooted in love, kindness, and unwavering faith in God. She was a devoted Christian who found great joy in prayer, reading her Bible, and serving others, especially her family. Her faith guided her daily life and was a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew her. Ruby was a loving and devoted mother who nurtured, supported, and cherished her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren throughout her life. Her journey was not without hardship, but her steadfast faith in God carried her through every trial, for she walked by faith and not by sight. Even in difficult times, she poured her heart into loving and caring for her children and husband, never wavering in her devotion. Through it all, her devoted husband Bay, remained faithfully by her side, a living testament to the covenant of marriage and God’s enduring love—steadfast, faithful, and unchanging—offering constant strength, comfort, and support throughout their years together. Guided by a humble spirit and a strong faith in the Lord, Ruby lived a life of service. She was known for her loving heart, her cooking, her sewing, and her gentle, kind words that reflected the love of Christ. Her gentle spirit, kind heart, and steadfast love will forever remain in the lives of all who were blessed to know her. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of almost 66 years, Bobby Joe “Bay” Rogers; their children, Diane Lee (Wayne), Bobbie Dunn , Pamela McKinney (Cliff) and Tim Rogers (Kelly); her grandchildren, Amanda, Adrienne, Aubrey (Sam), Tabbatha (Scott), Aaron (Katie), Robert (Heather), Emily (Matthew), Mac, Balin, Brock and Caden; her great grandchildren, Henry , Eliza, Richard Paul ,Addison, Brinley, Swayze and Norah; and her sister Edna Heath (Jerry). She was preceded in death by her parents Boaty and Ruthie Pouncey Frazier; grandparents Willie and Nancy Edwards Frazier, George and Lily Reeves Pouncey, and brothers, Willie George, Willie Sam, John Henry, Otis, Boaty Lee and Robert Lee Frazier; Son-in-law, Paul Timothy Dunn. The family would like to extend special thanks to her devoted sitters, Vera and Penny, as well as the nurses, aides, and social worker from Heart of Hospice, for the compassionate care and support they provided to our beloved mother. We also offer our heartfelt gratitude to Lighthouse Pentecostal Church for their faithful visits and prayers, and the times they came to sing with our parents over the past two years. Their love, kindness, and ministry have been a true blessing to our family. May God richly bless each of you for the care and comfort you have given. Though she is no longer with us, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace, in the presence of the Lord she loved so dearly. Her life was a testament to faith, love, and devotion, and she will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Pallbearers will be Aaron Dunn, Robert Dunn, Aubrey Lee, Balin Rogers, Brock Rogers, Caden Rogers, and Mac McKinney. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Rogers, Earl Rogers, and Curtis Rogers. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home 7738 Florida Blvd. Denham Springs, LA 70726, on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Revival Temple Church Cemetery.
