In Loving Memory of Pero Tomic It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Pero Tomic, a hardworking, caring, and devoted man whose greatest joy in life was his family. Together with his beloved wife, Mara, he shared a life filled with love, family, and countless memories. They built a family that became his greatest pride and joy. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Mara; his children Zoran, Marko, Anto, Ružica, Jelica, and Ivica; his 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters and their families; and many extended family members and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory. Pero was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ruža and Pero, and his daughter, Slavica, whom he carried in his heart and never forgot. We find comfort in knowing that they are now together again. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him immense happiness and filled his life with love and joy. He cherished every moment spent with them. They will forever carry his love, memories, and the lessons he shared with them in their hearts. A man of strength, kindness, and love, Pero dedicated his life to his family. He worked hard and made many sacrifices for his children, always putting their needs before his own. He gave so much of himself to provide for his family and to give his children the best life he could. Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we are grateful for the years, memories, love, sacrifices, and lessons he gave us. His love will continue to live on through his family. He will never be forgotten and will remain forever in our hearts. A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 865 Hatchell Lane, Denham Springs, Louisiana 70726. Holy Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow in the church hall. In accordance with his wishes, Pero will be laid to rest in Novi Travnik, Bosnia, the place where he was born and that he held so close to his heart. The family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pero’s memory. We are grateful for your prayers, love, and support as we remember and celebrate his life. May he rest in eternal peace, and may God welcome him into His eternal home.
