Paul Joseph Nicolosi

Paul, age 91, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025. He was a native and resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Throughout the years, Paul was a jack of all trades. He served as a Deputy Sheriff, Carpenter, Boilermaker, and owner of Paul’s Poboys with his wife Patsy. He was notably a proud member of the Boilermaker Union. In his spare time, you could find him building beautiful bird houses that have been sold in numerous places throughout the country. He had a special talent in carpentry, and it showed through everything he would build. Paul loved being outdoors and was happiest when he was camping and on his favorite party barge, The Pooter Scooter. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather who will be forever missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know and love him. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 69 wonderful years, Patsy Nicolosi; daughters, Terri Brettillo (Johnny) and Linda Thorske; grandchildren, Ashley Pierson (John), Toshia Vampran (Joey), Johnny Thorske Jr. (Dee-Dee), Sean Thorske, Josh Thorske (Robin), Johnathan Nicolosi, Monique Crapse (John), Chris Nicolosi (Alyssa), Vickie Stacks (Benjamin), Lonnie Henry, and Lisa Davis (Bradley); great-grandchildren, Mark, Trent, Paul, Kayla, Brysen, Relate (Logan), Izabella, Hayden, Damon, William, Reagan, A.J., Brycen, Leo, Love, Mia, Mallory, Gracie, Ryker, Mila, Easton and Jayden; and great-great-grandchild, Elliana. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Peno Nicolosi and Josephine Palermo; brother, Joe Nicolosi; sister-in-law, Marie Nicolosi; daughters, Paula Nicolosi and Debra Henry and husband Lonnie; son-in-law, Johnny Thorske; son, Michael Nicolosi; grandson, Michael Nicolosi Jr.; granddaughter-in-law, Christina Nicolosi; and great-grandson, Cash. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home 12012 Hwy. 190 W.
