Nancy Griffin Armand Nancy Griffin Armand, age 73, was born on January 9, 1944 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina and passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Marrero Nursing Facility in Marrero, Louisiana. She was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard, LA but had to relocate to Sulphur, LA after Katrina. With a great sense of humor and outgoing personality, Nancy’s smile would light up a room. She was an intelligent, friendly and unique individual who believed in doing things her way and living life to the fullest. She was an outstanding cook, a huge history buff and she could tell you everything about her favorite movie stars. Being a grandmother was her greatest joy. She was a former employee of Atlantic Envelope Company in New Orleans, Louisiana before devoting her life to being a homemaker. Nancy leaves behind her daughter, Sarah Meyer and husband Joe; son, Raymond D. Armand Jr. and wife Valerie; daughter, Jennifer Stout and husband Terry; daughter-in-law, Sandi Rodriguez; grandchildren, Jason E. Meyer and wife Charise, Stephanie M. Underwood and husband A.J., Zachery R. Armand, Raymond D. Armand III, Lauryn Armand, Trevor Tyner, Tristan St. Cyr, and Christopher and Dominick Gulizo; great-grandchildren, Brook, Ellie, and Kali Meyer. She is also survived by her siblings, Linda and husband Chris, Victoria, Pamela and husband David, sister-in-law, Gayle; a host of nieces and nephews; former husband, Armand R. Rodriguez. Preceding Nancy in death were her husband, Raymond Armand Sr.; son, Marc A. Rodriguez; brother, Michael; parents, James Bundy Griffin and Vivian Irene Craw Burden. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home in Ponchatoula on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00am, with visitation beginning at 9:00am. The service will be officiated by Father Robert Merced.
