Michelle Roberts

Michelle, age 52, went to her Heavenly Home on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. She was a resident of Ponchatoula, LA. Michelle was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She was always doing for others or looking for a way to care for others, even through her illness everyone around her came first. Michelle had a giving spirit and was a second mother to countless children. She has touched so many people throughout her life and impacted so many with her kindness. Michelle was a faithful woman who believed all things were the glory of God. She never let anything doubt her faith and she always prayed for others. Michelle loved to go to the beach, especially with her children. Her children were her life, and she took every opportunity to spend time with them. From snacks around the pool, weekends at the beach, to lunch on Sundays after church, Michelle was always with her family. Michelle was a true Christian woman with a heart so big she managed to love everyone she met. She was remarkable on this Earth and we all know she is rejoicing in Heaven with Jesus. "Faith Over Fear" #HealedForEternity She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Brad Roberts; children, Grace Roberts, Collin Roberts (Erin), Connor Roberts; parents, Cathy and Larry Hollie; sister, Heather Hollie; and nephew, Jaxson Hollie. Michelle is preceded in death by her grandparents, Marjorie and Dessie Nalee Beard, and Eli and Ezzie Hollie. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the New Orleans Mission at https://donorbox.org/daily-donations. In honor of Michelle the family has asked to flood the funeral home with pink. Please wear your Team Michelle shirt or any pink you may have Saturday evening. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 1190 Hwy 51 N. Ponchatoula, LA 70454 on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Scott Boney and Pastor Louis Husser will officiate and interment will follow in Sandhill Cemetery.
