In Loving Memory of Frank "Tony" Anthony Burgess November 3, 1983 – September 2, 2025 Frank "Tony" Anthony Burgess, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of quiet strength, unwavering devotion, and boundless love. Born on November 3, 1983, to Deborah and William “Sam” Burgess, Frank was the youngest of five children and was known for his integrity, loyalty, and goofiness that shaped every relationship he touched. Frank married Sabrina in a simple, heartfelt ceremony that marked the beginning of a life built on love, faith, and deep connection. Together, they created a home where family was everything—a place filled with laughter, loyalty, and the kind of closeness that only grows from unconditional love. A Catholic, Frank loved the Lord and lived his faith through his love, humility, and grace. He was a man of quiet conviction, whose strength came not from words, but from the way he showed up-for his family, and his country. He proudly served in the Army, completing three deployments with honor. Yet his greatest calling was at home. Frank served his family with every ounce of his being, and in doing so, became the best of us all. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sabrina, and their children: Victoria Tersteeg (Justin), Douglas Landry Jr. (Mariah), Mallory Landry, and Blake Burgess. His greatest joy was being "Pops" to his cherished grandchildren-Amelia, Adeline, and Andrew. He also leaves behind his parents, his siblings Sam Burgess Jr, Brad Burgess(Crystal), and Kristi Green(Michael); his mother-in-law Sierra Uthe, and a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews whom he loved wholeheartedly. He was preceded in death by his brother Scott Burgess, whose memory remained close to his heart. Frank's legacy is one of faith, family, and fierce devotion. His presence will be missed beyond measure, but the love he gave so freely will continue to guide and comfort those who carry him in their hearts. In lieu of flowers please kindly donate to the Scott Burgess Foundation @ scottburgessmemorial.org. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs, LA on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. Fr. Matthew Graham will officiate. A private interment will be held at a later date.
