Barron Blaine Roche

Barron Blaine Roché Barron, age 59, joined his wife in Heaven on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. He was a native of Lafayette, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. He graduated from Lafayette Highschool as well as ULL. Barron was an exceptionally hard worker who took great pride in providing for his family. Barron worked for many years as an Independent Petroleum Landman and then moved into Real Estate. He was a dedicated member of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries and had a strong faith and devotion to the Lord. Barron loved making people laugh and was always up for a good “dad” joke. He had a huge heart and was known to do anything he could for others. Barron was most proud of becoming a Paw Paw and he was most happy with his granddaughter by his side. Both passed away at Oschner in Baton Rouge surrounded by their 3 sons after valiant and courageous battles with Covid. Our family is heartbroken and devastated due to the unexpected double loss which is almost to much to bear. We all know they are flying high in heaven and will be watching over our family as two special guardian angels. He was a strong and loving man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Barron is survived by his sons, Spencer Roché (Christina), Bryson Roché, Nicholas Roché; father, Charles Roché; brother, Randy Roché (Kristyn); granddaughter, Haley Roché; and nephews, Michael Roché and Drew Roché. He is preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Kathleen Conques Roché; mother, Mabel Cascio Roché; and grandmother, Beulah Guidry. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Ochsner Medical Team, Pastor Dale, Bro. Thomas, all law enforcement, and family and friends for all of the care and support given during this difficult time. Pallbearers will be Spencer Roche’, Joey Bernard, Zakary Zanovec, Todd Weber, Mike Henry, Johnny Marino, Travis Conques, Matthew Weber; and honorary pallbearers will be Charles Roche’, Randy Roche’, Drew Roche’, Michael Roche’, Braxton Moore, Ian Spurlock. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 7738 Florida Blvd., Denham Springs, on Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
